We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities) Support Assistant to join a special school in Rawtenstall. This full-time, long-term role involves providing essential support to students with complex needs, ensuring they have a positive and inclusive educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist students with PMLD in the classroom and throughout daily activities
* Provide personal care and support as needed
* Help with communication, mobility, and independence
* Work closely with teachers and the support team to deliver tailored learning experiences
* Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and emotional support of students at all times
About You:
* Previous experience working with students with SEN, particularly PMLD
* Comfortable with personal care tasks
* Patient, compassionate, and willing to support students' emotional and physical needs
* Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
* Ability to work as part of a dedicated team
