Looking for a role within a warehouse where you are involved in stock inventory? Fancy a job that involves building studio sets for catalogue photography? Are you physically fit and have previously delivered a role where you can demonstrate putting things together? Can you get to Aintree?
Opportunities like this do not come along every day. We are looking for 2 people to join our team on site at Aintree, Liverpool. You will be working for one of the largest online retailers, digitally connecting to customers across the UK and Ireland.
The Aintree site is based in an industrial part. The team is warm and friendly, and the site is inviting and open. You will immediately feel the professionalism when you walk in, but at the same time, feel how friendly everyone is on site.
We have full catering facilities accommodating breakfast and lunch, and there is a retail park opposite if you fancy some shopping during lunch. We sell products for all ages, genders, and home furnishing and accessories, and our brands are extensive.
On our site at Aintree, we have studios set up to promote our products and services - this is where you would be based. Each day, various catalogue pages, room sets, and visual images are built for our photographers to capture the images for our website.
You will play an active part in moving stock around to the sets, be responsible for the inventory and care of that stock, and in some parts, build the sets or move lots of furniture into place. The role does require you to be very fit as you are on the move every hour moving stock, parts, and sets around the building. The role is very interesting and integral to the successful delivery of each campaign to the catalogue.
Responsibilities:
1. Picking, delivering, and packing samples to be sent out to all channel activity
2. Scanning and tracking any samples on site for the studio and ensuring inventories are completed and all stock is returned
3. Keeping samples consolidated on site and maintaining a record of their locations for easy access
4. Building and assembling flat packs in line with studio set-ups
5. Conducting regular stock audits
6. Liaising with the studio on the samples required and ensuring they are delivered efficiently
7. Working to sample schedules to ensure they are ready for shots and returned accurately to their home on site
8. Liaising with suppliers on samples, delivery, and returns
The role would suit someone who has worked in a distribution centre, is familiar with stock control, and has active knowledge of stores on site, inventories, and movement of stock accurately. The role will initially be ongoing, with no end date.
Key Attributes:
1. Physically fit and able to build flat packs
2. Articulate at recording data and keeping inventories
3. Enjoys a fast-paced environment
