PMO MANAGER - MOBILISATION
Location: National (Hybrid)
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
We are seeking a highly skilled PMO Manager to support the mobilisation of a major government NEC4 FMC contract.
This pivotal fixed-term contract role reports directly to the Project Director and will play a critical part in ensuring the successful setup, structure, and execution of the project function.

The mobilisation phase will involve implementing best-practice processes, systems, and governance to ensure a seamless transition into operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Establish and manage the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring processes, tools, and governance are in place
* Support NEC4 FMC contract mobilisation, completing preparatory activities on time and to a high standard
* Provide strategic support to the Project Director, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management
* Develop and implement efficient project management processes and procedures
* Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
* Monitor performance metrics, milestones, and progress, reporting to the Project Director
* Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to meet objectives
* Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation
* Lead and mentor the PMO team to foster collaboration and high performance
* Prepare and deliver reports for stakeholders
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience in project management / built environment / business administration
* Experience in establishing a PMO
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
* Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
