Therapy area and scientific expertise : Direct teams across accounts, contribute through others, and co-create excellent medical content across multiple therapy areas, ensuring that outputs meet / exceed client expectations
Strategic thinking :
Define strategy for accounts and on new business proposals in collaboration with senior team members
Present briefs to internal and external audiences
Client relationships : Act as trusted advisor for clients, engaging regularly in various ways
Managing and advising :
Direct, build, develop and manage teams to work competently, confidently and efficiently to deliver high-quality work in high-pressure situations
Ensure a robust environment for project development
Identify opportunities for other teams to support business
Business development : Lead and direct business development activities in collaboration with key internal stakeholders including identification, proposal development, therapy area expertise etc.

Provide strategic counsel and support strategic decision-making, provide recommendations, act as a strategic partner to key clients

What you should have :
You should bring previous experience within medical education including roles that involved management of multiple teams of medical writers and / or strategists across accounts, and direct interaction with clients
A profound understanding of healthcare, science, medicine, and the pharmaceutical industry is essential
A high level of academic achievement is expected
You'll need to be personable, articulate, and capable of nurturing relationships, with a knack for delivering persuasive presentations

Our Directors play a pivotal role in directing programmes across accounts. This position is perfect for a visionary leader with a deep understanding of therapy and scientific fields who can direct and develop high-performing teams to create impactful medical content and expand business opportunities. Directors thrive in shaping the future of accounts and fostering a dynamic, supportive environment for groundbreaking project development. Directors have the opportunity to specialise in content development, team leadership, team development, and / or strategic thinking., Working with HART : Since the pandemic, we have adapted to how our people told us they want to work. We have offices in cities with many employees and clients - New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Manchester, UK and London, UK - that serve as hubs where and when they need us, and we encourage employees who live less than a 45-minute commute of a Real Chemistry office to go in at least two days per week. Outside of these offices, we have regions, where people work remotely but come together quarterly for collaboration, culture and learning opportunities.
