Severn Arts Finance Manager The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in managing and monitoring the everyday financial health of the organisation and working with budget holders to ensure efficiency and best value. You will need to be organised and able to offer advice and guidance to support staff in creating and managing their budgets. The successful candidate will work with the Senior Leadership Team as we embark on a new 3-year Business Plan cycle, to inform and contribute to realistic financial planning whilst seeking creative solutions to overcome challenges. About the role : Part time, 30 hours per week (0.81 FTE) Permanent post £36,000 per annum (FTE) Reporting to Director of Resources and Operations Line management responsibilities: Finance Officer Based at Severn Arts offices, Worcester The Finance Manager will : Lead on the day-to-day financial management and reporting for Severn Arts, working with the Director of Resources and Operations and budget holders to ensure the financial functions of the organisation work effectively and efficiently to support the operation of the business and wider business planning Provide relevant reporting information as required by statutory bodies, funders and other stakeholders to ensure we comply with our obligations in relation to the financial aspects of the business Person Specification : Degree level or equivalent qualification, or experience of working in finance management at an appropriate level Relevant accountancy qualification (AAT or equivalent) or equivalent experience Knowledge of financial management requirements in a company environment Experience of working within a finance function at a supervisory level and providing financial information to finance and non-finance officers at all levels Experience of producing management accounts, budgets, balance sheets and cashflow projections This post is subject to a criminal record check under the arrangements established by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
