Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at a critical commercial building in London. As an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the electrical systems, including lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, and fault-finding.
Duties
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lamp changes, ballast changes, and simmtronic/Phillips lighting
* Test emergency lighting systems
* Ensure power distribution systems are functioning correctly
* Identify and repair electrical faults
* Carry out small works, including new socket installations, new lighting, and new circuits
* Perform PAT testing
* Maintain control panels and transformers
* Test and maintain fire alarm systems and sprinkler systems
* Perform AHUs/FCUs maintenance, including filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, and coil cleaning
* Carry out pump maintenance, including PPMs or strip-downs
* Maintain motors, including re-winds and overhauls
* Perform water treatment tasks, including dipslides, pH and temperature testing, chlorination, and chemical dosing
* Reset boilers and chiller systems
* Perform general fabric maintenance as required
Requirements
* C&G Level 3 Electrical Installations (essential)
* C&G 18th Edition (essential)
* Critical building maintenance experience (desirable)
