A leading global law firm is seeking a proactive and dynamic professional to oversee the daily operations and workflows of a busy legal department. This role combines Secretarial Team Leader responsibilities with Personal Assistant duties, offering a unique and rewarding challenge. About the Role This vacancy arises due to the retirement of the current Team Leader. The successful candidate will oversee and support the operations of a highly regarded legal team, including supervising administrative staff, managing workflows, and providing exceptional PA support to senior professionals. Management Duties: Supervise PAs and Team Administrators, ensuring high levels of service delivery. Allocate resources efficiently and manage team absences. Conduct performance appraisals, manage performance/conduct, and support staff development. Work collaboratively with other Team Leaders to ensure cross-practice coverage. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of administrative staff. PA Duties: Provide PA support to senior partners, including managing diaries, travel, billing, and compliance. Organise meetings, prepare itineraries, and handle expenses. Support business development activities such as events, client pitches, and marketing. Monitor time recording, assist with billing, and liaise with internal departments. Preferred Skills & Experience Prior experience as a Team Leader or Personal Assistant within professional services. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise workloads. Proficiency in systems such as Microsoft Office, iManage, Intapp Open, InterAction CRM, and Elite 3E. Litigation experience is essential; sector-specific experience is a bonus.
