Job Overview: We're on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our exciting, high-energy late-night bar and club. You’ll be in charge of managing the overall operations of the venue, ensuring smooth daily running, maximizing financial performance, and ensuring guests have an unforgettable time.
Location: Bridgwater - Full driving license and access to a car required, fuel expenses and travel time paid for
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
1. Oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
2. Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety at all times.
3. Coordinate effectively with bar and security teams for smooth peak-hour operations.
Financial Management:
1. Monitor financial performance, analyze reports and KPIs, and drive improvements.
2. Boost revenue through creative promotions, events, and upselling initiatives.
Team Leadership & Development:
1. Lead, train, and develop a team of bartenders and security staff.
2. Cultivate a positive work culture that fosters teamwork and high staff morale.
3. Organize staff scheduling to ensure sufficient coverage across all shifts.
Customer Experience:
1. Ensure guests receive exceptional service from entry to exit.
2. Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
3. Implement strategies to enhance customer loyalty and drive repeat business.
Compliance & Safety:
1. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
2. Oversee security protocols to guarantee a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
Qualifications:
1. At least 2 years of management experience in a high-volume nightclub, bar, or similar setting.
2. In-depth knowledge of nightlife industry trends, customer preferences, and the competitive market.
3. Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
4. Ability to work late nights and weekends.
5. Proficiency in financial management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
