Risk Reporting Analyst - Milton KeynesFull time, PermanentMilton Keynes - HybridSalary from £34,000, Benefits include Company Car Scheme, Generous pension, Discretionary Bonus and moreClosing Date: 10th March As the Risk Reporting Analyst, you will have a key role within the Risk Management team which is responsible for co-ordinating and contributing to the accurate production of regulatory and operational reporting and provisioning of the FS portfolios. An important part of your role will be to ensure that the data from systems like Finevare, Business Objects, Connect, CMS and, the Connect data warehouse provides accurate and valuable reports for your stakeholders who could be the Board of Management (BoM) or Headquarters. You will review, investigate and report on trends and exceptions. Additionally, you will be proactive in your approach to analysing trends in the portfolio, paying particular attention to shifts in the portfolios that may introduce longer-term risks. What you will be responsible for:Prepare standard and regulatory reports with commentaries for VWFS Retail and Corporate.Generate monthly credit provisions data for various portfolios, contributing to overall Risk provisions.Submit reports to stakeholders following L-OHB procedure, including coordinating the monthly Credit & Lending Risk Committee pack.Produce and deliver internal/external Audit Reports, assisting with regular audits as required.Act as the primary contact for report queries, liaising with Headquarters, Credit Assessment, and Specialist Lending Unit.Create supplementary and ad-hoc reports as requested by Risk Management and Credit Assessment teams, adhering to specified timelines.Support the Risk Management team with projects and initiatives, identifying new or evolving reporting requirements. You have the following skills and experience:Proven commercial experience in the automotive/financial services industry, preferably within a Risk or comparable analytical environment.Strong PC skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel; experience using Tableau Desktop/Prep is advantageous.Familiarity with SQL, Python, R Studio, or similar data analysis tools is desirable.Demonstrated mathematical capabilities, comfortable working with large volumes of numeric data; understanding of accounting standards, especially IFRS 9, is a plus.Knowledge of VWFS system architecture is beneficial but not essential.Methodical and disciplined approach to work, with the ability to identify trends, exceptions, and the tenacity to investigate and resolve issues.
