What You'll Do
As a successful MES Engineer, you will drive and support projects, implementing and configuring the core system (IGNITION) on both local and global levels. Collaborate with engineers, leaders, and operations, engaging and communicating on system development, updates, and results in applications and hardware aspects. Embrace a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture across the business, fostering teamwork.
Your Responsibilities
* Lead definition, development, testing, and integration of MES solutions
* Utilise Ignition software for front-end application design and development
* Support, troubleshoot, and maintain current applications and hardware
* Integrate solutions with ERP data for faster decision-making
* Develop SQL-based reports using MES and operational data
* Collaborate closely with controls engineers to develop data acquisition systems
* Integrate data historians for future machine learning capabilities
* Manage day-to-day MES issues, delegating when necessary
* Support project teams to drive continuous improvement
* Provide 24/7 technical support for manufacturing issue resolution
