We have an opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join their team of staff in the Outpatients department. This is a full-time role for hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Your new role
1. An opportunity for a dynamic leader to influence and develop new services and improve our CQC and Audit ratings.
2. Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically and managerially, preferably certificate by certificate with valid NMC Registration.
3. Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / in Nursing Studies.
4. Up-to-date knowledge in the area of practice.
5. Awareness of the NMC Code of Accountability.
6. Recruitment and selection skills.
7. Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
8. Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
What you'll need to succeed
9. The purpose of the Clinical Lead role is to clinically support the department to promote and ensure excellent patient care,
10. The Clinical Lead takes responsibility for leading the department under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services (DOCS) (small & medium hospitals) or Clinical Services Manager(CSM).
(large & flagship hospitals).
11. Responsible for the deployment, supervision and mentoring of staff within the clinical area, supporting the hospital management team in providing clinical leadership.
12. To maintain written records and legal documents to required levels and accepted practice.
