Lead Technical Sales Engineer
As a Lead Technical Sales Engineer (background in the Hydrotreating & Renewables Technology area) at Honeywell, in Bracknell, you will be a key enabler to LST’s growth by directing the adoption of UOP’s integrated solutions by our customers. With our integrated offering and lifecycle management vision, your deep technical understanding and business acumen will allow you to create value propositions that unlock value for our customers in innovative ways. In this role, you will connect with many stakeholders (business, sales, technical services, legal, marketing, breakthrough initiative counter partners, etc.) to ensure value for our customer, internal alignment and profitable business growth.

Duties
1. Drive the technical execution of assigned LST opportunities through development of value propositions and the business case for specific opportunities including technical performance estimates, technical input on strategy for sales events, preparation of technical proposals and technical appendices, preparation, and delivery of technical sales presentations in customer meetings resulting in successful sales.
2. Participate in customer discussions for assigned opportunities to gain an understanding of customer drivers, provide technical sales input and develop an understanding of the customer’s needs and expectations to meet or exceed customer requirements and increase satisfaction leading to a winning proposal and successful sales event. The combination of your technical skills and customer understanding will allow you to develop innovative solutions to address customer needs and objectives.
3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the UOP aftermarket offering capabilities including our value propositions of the Honeywell business unit concentrating on the assigned area of expertise and becoming recognized internally and externally as a technology expert.
4. Reflect and allocate learnings from every engagement with other team members to ensure improved technical strategies across the globe in all future opportunities.
5. Contribute to the global team by looking for opportunities and making suggestions to improve our internal tools and processes so we can become our best.
6. In this role, there will be a minimum of 25% expected travel.
Key skills and qualifications
* Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in Refining, Petrochemicals or Gas Processing
* Hydroprocessing technology experience desirable
* Diversity in experience across UOP and/or industry/plant operations highly valued. This could include different UOP technologies, different assignments in service, engineering, projects, marketing, R&D etc.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
* “Can-do attitude” – key for this breakthrough initiative and LST transformation enabler.
