A snapshot of the role:
As our Manager in our Manchester team, you are more than a client-facing figure; you are an integrated media relations maestro. Your expertise in cross-channel campaign delivery and agency experience are vital in executing high-profile communications campaigns across multiple markets. You will be working with a diverse portfolio of clients, including some of the world’s largest corporations and organisations. This role offers you the opportunity to let your skills shine while working with the best clients in the world.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Building and maintaining strong media relationships to enhance brand visibility
* Managing multiple client programmes with a media-first approach
* Developing and implementing strategic media relations plans
* Overseeing campaign creation and management with a strong media relations focus
* Developing compelling client communications and key messages for media
* Leveraging media relationships for client benefit and campaign success
* Networking within the industry to stay ahead of trends and opportunities
* Overseeing evaluation and reporting on media relations success
* Manage client expectations, fulfilling KPIs and growing accounts
* Contribute to new and organic business opportunities
* Budget management
* Mentor and train junior team members

Ideal experience required:
* Previous agency experience with a strong focus on media relations
* Proven track record of successful media relations campaigns
* Experience working with both corporate and consumer clients
* Excellent project management and organisational skills
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills
* Negotiation and persuasion
* Ability to deliver campaigns across multiple platforms
* Intermediate level in account management duties including client reporting, measurement and evaluation and data analysis
* Ability to effectively build external relationships
* Basic commercial awareness and business acumen
