Head of Content & Copywriting
Role overview:
The Head of Content & Copywriting is responsible for the overall strategy of content that sits across our digital sites. They will manage all outputs across the channels for EMEA and be the owner of JD's tone of voice in both content and copy across all touchpoints. Managing a fast paced team across multiple office locations - this role requires a strong motivated leader.
Responsibilities:
* Leading a team of talented content experts & copywriters across EMEA
* Inspiring and evolving the JD tone of voice
* Being responsible for the planning & execution of all content strategies
* Building strong relationships across all of our business functions including trading, marketing, retail & performance marketing.
* Reviewing performance, planning strategy and driving forward content & copy outputs
* Delivering constructive feedback
* Ability to prioritise the team's workload and deliver on multiple projects
Role objectives and KPI's:
* Working closely with our trading function to ensure all channels across EMEA are reflective of our key commercial messages
* Constantly reviewing performance and optimising content & copy to ensure we are maximising
* Reviewing and deploying new initiatives for how we can continue to evolve our approach
* Ensuring all product copy is delivered within the time frame required with the correct tone of voice
Skills and Experience:
* 6+ years' experience in content or copywriting including line management responsibilities
* Exceptional written communication skills
* Proven track record of managing and delivering on multiple projects
* Strong communicator with an ability to lead, influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders
* Commercially minded
Training needs to upskill:
* Leadership development program
* Good at managing up to senior leadership
* Exceptional knowledge of all copy and content systems
* Cross departmental relationships
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects
