Position Summary: We are currently recruiting for a Sales Coordinator to join our existing Inside Sales Team within our Power & Industrial (P&I) division based in Cramlington, Northumberland. The successful candidate will provide “first point of contact” support to our customers; from receipt of the PO to delivery of the order, ensuring that customers’ requirements are clearly communicated throughout the order fulfilment process and maintaining regular contact with the customer up to and beyond delivery of the order. Scope for flexible working arrangements, including working from home on occasion, is offered subject to agreement. Position Responsibilities: Customer / purchase order entry on to existing ERP system. Timely acknowledgement of customer PO’s, providing regular updates to customers on the progress. Expediting sales orders through internal processes. Resolve issues in a timely manner so as not to impact upon customer service or product delivery. Work with the Territory Sales Manager to support customer needs. Compile quotations via CRM (Salesforce) against specific enquiries for Energy products/IAQ parts. Work with other team members to continually improve the process and customer satisfaction levels. Maintain existing customer database. Produce reports to include details of outstanding orders. Manage stock count and SIOP reviews. Person Specification: Education, Qualifications and Affiliations Essential Minimum of 5 GCSE’s including English and Mathematics. Business qualification i.e., NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration / Customer Service Desirable Business qualification i.e., NVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration / Customer Service Completed qualifications from an accredited institution may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Experience Essential Demonstrable experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Knowledge and experience of working with ERP Proven experience in a sales /customer service role. Demonstrable ability to learn new computer systems and business processes. Experience dealing with suppliers and maintaining stock levels. Comfortable working on a number of projects simultaneously. Desirable Previous experience of working in a manufacturing/engineering company. Knowledge and experience of working with an ERP SAP – SAP 4 Hana Knowledge and experience of working with a CRM (preferably Salesforce) Licenses or Certifications Essential Eligible to work in the UK.
