This role offers excellent flexibility, with only two days per week in the office, and the opportunity to be a key player in driving financial reporting excellence and process improvements across the organisation.
What will the Financial Reporting Manager role involve?
Lead on balance sheet integrity and financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely information flows to the wider business.
Prepare and review key month-end journals, including payroll, stock, GRNI, and expenses.
Manage and mentor two Junior Financial Accountants.
Support process improvement initiatives, including automation and simplification projects.
Oversee statutory reporting, VAT, PSA, and corporation tax returns in collaboration with the Head of Financial Accounting.
Support the integration of acquisitions and ensure smooth accounting transitions.
Partner with the wider finance team to drive efficiencies and best practices.
Suitable candidate for the Financial Reporting Manager vacancy:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally with experience in IFRS.
Previous experience in a large, fast-paced business environment.
Ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel.
