Our client, based in Yeovil (BA20), are seeking a Tooling Governance/Procurement Assistant. This is a full-time temporary position working 37 hours per week until May 2026 with the possibility of extension.
What you will do:
* To provide support to the Tooling Procurement Process.
* Generation of SAP records.
* To provide support in the Governance of all Component Supplier related Tooling ensuring support to Procurement.
* Support the Supplier Qualification/Capability Matrix including DSA & Quality reporting.
* Support the Disposal Program, Support Internal Tooling Audits across Build Lines & Stores.
* Support the Maintenance of the DI's & Processes.
* Support the MSM & Goods Receipting Process.
Key role accountabilities:
* Tool Control management support.
* Assist with carrying out an MSM activity liaising with Internal & External Suppliers to ensure Delivery Schedule Adherence.
* Have an understanding of SAP/TCMAX interface supporting Central Tooling, TCE & DCC.
* Assist with tooling asset management.
* Support Logistics Hub liaisons.
* Support tooling audits, including; internal tooling asset audits, Supplier Purchase Order Audits, and Tooling Supplier Approval audits.
What you need:
* Basic numeracy and literacy qualifications.
* Level 3 BTEC or equivalent.
* Data analysing skills.
* Negotiating Skills/Techniques.
* Effective problem solving skills/techniques.
* Good Inter-personal & communication skills.
* Computer literate with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial.
