Are you a travel enthusiast with a knack for exceptional customer service? Intrepid Travel, a world-leading provider of sustainable adventure travel, seeks a passionate Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team in Brixton!
In this fast-paced role, you'll be the first point of contact for adventure seekers across the globe, crafting unforgettable travel experiences through Intrepid's diverse range of tours. You'll leverage your knowledge of travel trends and sales strategies to guide customers and exceed sales targets, while providing exceptional service through phone, email, social media, and live chat.
This is your chance to combine your passion for travel with your customer service expertise. We're looking for someone who thrives in a multi-tasking environment, possesses excellent IT skills, and can navigate our travel booking systems with accuracy. A hunger for learning and a drive to succeed are essential, as your performance will be directly linked to commission structures and industry-standard KPIs.
What you need to know:
This is a full-time, permanent position operating on a hybrid basis, with 3 days per week required in our office in Brixton, London. During the initial weeks, you'll benefit from a thorough and guided training programme to set you up for success, which will require you to be in the office throughout the week.
The start date for this role is strictly 4th March 2025 to accommodate essential training and onboarding requirements.
Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:
1. Experience working in a sales position.
2. Excellent customer service experience, via telephone, email, and/or live chat.
3. Completed travel industry course and/or experience within the travel industry.
4. Personal and/or professional travel experience to Intrepid destinations.
5. Confident IT skills, including the use of travel booking systems and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
