This is a newly established service at Swansea Bay and the Afan Valley position the first of its kind in the area.
The post holder will join three other Community Psychologists who are embedded within the Cwm Tawe, Bay and Upper Valley clusters and will be expected to provide leadership to the service and work with Consultant Leads to take the initiative forward in an evidence based manner.

There is a need to understand and work with the wider determinants of Mental Health utilising systemic thinking and skills.
The post holder will join a thriving, friendly and supportive Psychology Network, which delivers services in a broad range of areas including, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Physical Health and Neuropsychological specialties. Psychology meet regularly for networking, sharing resources, CPD and reflective practice. There is an emphasis on Compassionate Leadership and support throughout the network.
