Our client, a leading construction consultancy, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis in London. This role offers the unique opportunity to work on high-profile projects, including the House of Parliament.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and overseeing all aspects of quantity surveying on site
Administering NEC contracts and ensuring compliance with contractual terms
Carrying out post-contract activities such as CVR/reporting and change control
Handling contract administration and maintaining accurate records
Building and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders and contractors
Delivering accurate and timely cost reports and forecasts
Ensuring effective change management processes are in place
Utilising Excel to analyse and manage financial data
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry
Strong understanding and practical experience with NEC contracts
Proven track record of managing post-contract activities, including CVR/reporting
Proficiency in contract administration and change control processes
Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate effectively
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using Excel for financial management
Confidence in handling high-profile projects with precision and professionalism
