At Stepnell, we understand the importance of ensuring our tenders are competitive. We are looking to grow our preconstruction team and recruit an Estimator to join our Rugby team. You will support the work-winning team and contribute to competitive tenders for new construction and refurbishment projects up to £30 million in value. The Key responsibilities: Prepare and support competitive tender and framework submissions from first principles for construction projects Actively participate in tender processes for projects up to £2 millions Participate in post-tender negotiations and ensure a successful handover to delivery teams upon award Maintain professional communication, liaising confidently with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders Build effective relationships to foster trust and respect within our supply chain and with customers Assist in developing tender strategies, managing enquiries, and preparing accurate cost estimates. Support bid management by influencing suppliers and subcontractors to achieve optimum solutions and the best net price. Take ownership of individual tenders, presenting quality pricing packages and fully scheduled risk and opportunity registers.
