Do you enjoy driving and being part of a team? Groundwork are seeking a pool of sessional drivers to support the delivery of a number of projects across the capital delivering essential support to Londoners in need. You will provide cover for annual leave, absence and additional capacity.
The Sessional Delivery Driver will support projects including:
Waltham Forest Food Hub: You will be required to complete collections and deliveries of surplus food to food banks in Waltham Forest. Food Hub is based in Chingford.
Rework, our white goods and furniture refurbishment project. Collecting raw product and delivering refurbished goods.
The Loop, a furniture reuse and refurbishment project. Collecting unwanted furniture and delivering refurbished goods
The Green Team, horticulture training teams. Delivering materials to sites and collecting green waste.
Across each of these projects, you would be required to complete collections and deliveries of goods, load and unload the goods, at times you would be required to support in the warehouses. Full training and PPE will be provided in manual handling and food hygiene, and domestic appliance installation if required.

A full driving license and confidence to drive long wheel base van
Able to undertake manual handling on a daily basis (training and PPE provided)
Proactive with a can-do attitude and ability to work in a team.
Good customer service skills and communication.
This role is sessional. Each month, Groundwork London will share a series of dates we are requesting to be worked by the Sessional Delivery Driver, The Sessional Delivery Driver can accept or turn down
the dates offered. Furthermore, Groundwork London will contact you to cover emergency cover where required. Again the Sessional Delivery Driver can accept of turn down dates offered.
Start dates for sessional Delivery Driver will be 8am or earlier.
Hours: Sessional hours to cover staff absence and annual leave
