This company is based in Bedfordshire and converts standard cars and vans into specialist vehicles for operational use for the emergency services. They are looking for an Assembly Fitter to join their manufacturing team.
The work focuses on the emergency services and the conversion of vehicles, including police cars, vans, paramedic vehicles, and many other types of builds.

We welcome applications from people with a passion for vehicle repairs, including tyre fitters, body repair technicians, trainee mechanics, level 1/level 2 qualified mechanics, vehicle technicians, assemblers, fitters, electrical fitters, auto electricians, and panel technicians.
Duties of the Assembly Fitter role:
1. Stripping down and rebuilding vehicles
2. Fitting specialist storage
3. Installing telematic systems
4. Interior fitting of vehicles
5. CCTV systems
6. Interior racking systems
Experience required for the Assembly Fitter role:
1. Auto-electrical experience is an advantage
2. Varied skill set
3. Practical skills are an advantage
4. Open to learning and a good work ethic
