Colchester Prep & High School was founded in 1882 by Ferdinand Grӧne as a ‘most desirable establishment for young ladies’, providing a ‘sound English education’. Over the past 140 years, Colchester Prep & High School has built up a reputation for providing an excellent all-round education whilst preparing our pupils for life beyond school. About the role
To support the school’s communications across several channels including social media, newsletters, and publications. The role will support the wider marketing strategy as set out by the Head and Pod Marketing Manager, which will ensure the school is represented in line with an agreed strategic positioning and clear ethos to ensure the maximum number of enquiries and leads are provided to the admissions team.
Your key responsibilities will involve communications and creative content such as managing the school’s social media accounts and websites, creating posts and editorial content, and assisting with the production of prospectuses, parent handbooks, and welcome guides. You will also work closely with Admissions, participating in promoting the school to prospective parents and students through recruitment events and assisting with email campaigns for stakeholders within the pipeline.
Who we are looking for:
You will have experience in Marketing and/or Brand Management and of previously supporting communication campaigns and managing professional social media accounts. You will have digital proficiency in apps such as Canva, META, LinkedIn, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Additionally, you should have strong creative skills, be a self-starter who can operate with autonomy and learns quickly, and be dedicated to exceeding customer expectations.
