Kettleshulme St James CE (VA) Primary is a small but mighty school located on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our amazing School Family. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing exciting nutritional food for our pupils, as well as possessing infinite amounts of joy, energy and kindness.
We are looking for a school cook who:
has experience of planning, preparing and cooking meals for large numbers
has a home cooking approach to food
is keen to use local suppliers
is able to meet the various dietary needs of our pupils
can oversee the ordering of food and work to a budget
maintains high standards of hygiene in accordance with legislation
is kind, approachable and hardworking
is flexible and open to change
enables pupils to feel heard and is keen to hear what they have to say
is willing to work with staff and pupils to create termly menus which are loved by all
is proactive and forward thinking
is a good role model to our pupils
has good communication skills
