Our client, a leading manufacturer in the rotating equipment sector are looking to recruit an experienced Internal Sales Engineer to join the business on a permanent basis due to continued growth.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience working within a similar role managing customer enquiries, preparing detailed technical quotations and order processing activities within a manufacturing engineering environment. This may also suit an ambitious candidate looking to take the next step in their career into a more commercially orientated role.
Candidates will ideally be qualified in an Engineering discipline whether this be a formal apprenticeship or degree background. Experience working with Pumps/ Valves/ Rotating equipment is highly advantageous.
Hours - Monday - Friday 36.5 hours - Flexible start and finish times available + early finish on Friday.
Responsibilities
* Preparing and following up on quotations for MRO / Projects.
* Participate in contract reviews as and when required to ensure all technical and commercial aspects of the order are agreed, understood, and accepted and are in line with the quotation issued.
* Managing the customer base, seeking new opportunities for the company products with direct customer contact
* Maintain the CRM system.
* Attend internal client kick-off meetings when required.
* Identify selling opportunities and solicit enquiries from interested parties.
