We are recruiting for a temporary Executive Officer to work on site at one of our centrally based departments starting ASAP for approx 12 weeks working 37.5 hrs p/w and paying £20.38 p/h Duties: Undertake research and analysis, as directed by the Bursar, to prepare management information and briefing material, with recommendations for the Bursar or College committees. Support the Bursar with significant work packages/projects related to the College’s strategic plan in a wide range of areas – including environmental sustainability, financial planning and sustainability, governance, stakeholder engagement, estate planning and development. Support College governance through its Committees and Project Working Groups – preparing papers and supporting committee secretariat function to ensure that meetings work effectively; organising events where required. Co-ordinate or lead cross-departmental projects to achieve strategic and operational aims. Liaise with colleagues across the central university and other colleges to obtain and collate essential information to inform decision making. Support transition of delivery projects into business-as-usual activity through development of guides, communications, and training. Essential Criteria: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Experience of working at a senior level in a large public or private sector organisation. Recent and relevant experience of strategic and operational planning. Ability to undertake research and analysis, and present complex information in a cogent way. Experience of policy/procedural development. Sound project management skills and evidence of successful completion of complex projects.
