Job Description ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER OR PROJECT MANAGER LOOKING FOR YOUR NEXT ROLE? Our client specialises in design and build for commercial, education, and workplace interior design. This studio is a small and fast-growing business that works with private schools and workplaces to design and develop their buildings. As an ideal candidate, you will be NEED : Around 10 years experience in the Design & Build (D&B) sector; ideally workplace, commercial, or education. Full and clean UK driving license. Breadth of experience in pitching & presenting to clients. AutoCAD (essential). Revit (highly beneficial). SketchUp. EnScape. Adobe Creative Suites. RESPONSIBILITIES of the role: As the Creative Project lead, you would be responsible for leading the design team and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously. From the initial brief, pitching and presenting to clients, and finalising project specifications, you will ensure that the design solutions are in line with the studio's standards. The team is comprised of around 4-6 freelance Interior Designers, one full-time Technical Designer, and one Design Coordinator; you will work closely with each of these designers, taking responsibility across all projects with values ranging from £100k to £2m. Develop existing and assist in expanding the design team as necessary. You will play a leading role in understanding and translating client needs into innovative and compelling design proposals and pitches. Work alongside the Design Co-ordinator to ensure projects are completed on time and within the design budget. Facilitating client briefs and strategizing with the design & sales team to approach and win projects. INTERVIEW PROCESS: Initial 15-minute call with the Sales Director. Face-to-face interview (45 minutes - 1 hour) at the studio. Trial (PAID) design task. Final face-to-face interview (30-45 minutes) - pitching design and meeting various other team members. OTHER INFORMATION: Full time office based: open to hybrid working (1-2 days working from home) following a successful probationary period. Hours to suit candidate, typically core hours are between 8am to 5pm. Company profit share: once probation completed (Growth By Sharing – you will get an uncapped % of extra annual pay, paid quarterly, once the company profits reach a point of business sustainability and continue to grow through the year.
