Job Advert Role Description
Lynbrook is located in Bamber Bridge, a suburb of Preston, and offers residential support for four adults, who are on the autism spectrum or have a learning disability.
About the role
As a Bank Support Worker you will work on a variety of duties, including:
* Promoting independence: Encouraging our service users to live as independently as possible, while supporting them in building their life skills.
* Achieving goals: Help set, achieve and celebrate personal goals for each individual, ensuring they progress at their own pace.
* Encouraging socialisation: Working with colleagues to engage our service users in exciting activities and hobbies that promote involvement and personal growth.
* Providing personal care: Assisting with personal care needs, tailored to each individual’s requirements.
* Building relationships: Supporting the development of important family connections and liaising with external specialists, including Speech & Language Therapists and Learning Disability teams.
