What you'll do
The role exists within the Vodafone Networks team to become a highly valued business partner to challenge, support and drive the organisation.
* Planning cycles: To deliver effective annual forecasts & long range plans. Ensure that forecast submissions are aligned to the strategy of the business, insights are provided at the necessary level of detail and a proper alignment with all stakeholders is in place.
* Month End Control & Reporting: Own the month end reporting cycle for area of responsibility.
* Reporting: Be responsible for the financial performance for specific area of responsibility - ensuring that reports are fit for purpose for various stakeholders' requirements.
* Process Governance and Business Cases: Support approval boards and processes, bring financial understanding to business decisions by ensuring alternatives are thoroughly evaluated and the optimum decision is taken.
* Financial Admin: Properly support and business partner with Heads of and their direct reports.

* Good communication and presentation skills to ensure credibility with senior executives.
* Ability to influence and build relationships at a senior level.
* Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
* Business partnering experience and support of business initiatives.
* Proven record as a high achiever in a complex organisation.

* Discretionary yearly bonus: 10%
* Annual leave: 28 days + bank holidays + the opportunity to buy/sell/carry over 5 days/year.
* Charity days: 5 days/year.
* Maternity/adoption leave: 52 weeks out of which the first 13 weeks are fully paid followed by 26 weeks of half pay and 6 months - working 4 days, getting paid 5.
* Paternity leave: 16 weeks fully paid.
* Private pension: You can contribute up to 5% of your basic pay with 2:1 matching from Vodafone up to 10%.
