Threat and Intelligence Manager This role can be based at any site (Belfast, Cheadle, Crawley, Doncaster, Glasgow, Templecombe, or Reading) Are you looking to build your career as a security professional? Then look no further We have a fantastic opportunity for a Threat and Intelligence Manager to join our Security team. You'll be providing an effective and efficient security service to all on site Thales Domains and Business Units plus their aligned sites and designated areas, in compliance with relevant national, Group and UK security policies and procedures. The Threat and Intelligence Manager is a key role within the Corporate Security Office (CSO) Thales UK and is responsible for the planning/direction, collection, processing/exploitation, analysis/production and dissemination of all aspects relating to information/intelligence. This role will look to conduct activities to identify and disrupt malicious activities, which could jeopardise or hurt Thales UK and its partner's information, assets and material. Key responsibilities Managing efficient and effective co-ordination and execution of information and intelligence, including sanitization. Deliver intelligence activities in line with best practice policies/processes and follow the intelligence cycle in their approach to work. Implementing and creating policies and processes in accordance with corporate governance in Intelligence Gathering Support planning activities across Thales UK to mitigate threats Provide timely actionable intelligence to support planning activities with clear identification of gaps and rationale for assessment outcomes. Organise and coordinate quarterly Security Working Groups (SWG) and supporting critical ones including the Insider Threat Working Group (ITWG) as a key stakeholder. Responsible for intelligence gathering activities using open source and existing tooling. Assisting with site internal and external audits in the area of threat and intelligence. Support Incident Management activities and provide Most likely and dangerous courses of action analysis for decision makers. Conduct analysis and assessments, utilising best in practice and proven intelligence methods. Deliver intelligence development with a clear view on the 5 year strategy to progress to, ensuring adherence to key milestones and interdependencies. Support the Head of Security Services on MYB and CAPEX requests to support intelligence gathering capability Responsible for engagements and creation of MOU's with partner intelligence and government/industry agencies and build a network of trusted partners including the chairing of an intelligence sharing forum. Reports in and supports security transformation across Sites, business units and within the wider CSO and IS, even in the areas outside of threat and intelligence. Ensure governmental legislation changes and those relating to threat and intelligence are communicated and understood by all key About you Ideally, you'll: Be able to demonstrate relevant experience working in a similar security related role/environment OR have an interest in developing your career in this area Have knowledge and understanding of List X(FSC) and the UK MoD cryptographic procedures. Experience working as a Crypto Custodian/Alternate or possess equivalent certification/qualification in Security.
