Full training will be given both onsite and at our training provider (EKGTA) in East Kilbride. On completion of the programme successful candidates would achieve fully qualified Engineering status Our apprentices need to be interested and passionate about manufacturing engineering. So, you should be a motivated individual, also curious about how things are made and put together through the use of technical drawings.\n\nNumeracy is important, and you should be a team player. Youâll have to learn fast and have the discipline to balance studying for a qualification with the demands of your role. \nYouâll need a minimum three National 5 Grades (or equivalent) in Math's and English Language, plus either Engineering, Design & Technology or Science (excluding Biology), all at grade C or above (obtained or predicted).
