Shift Pattern: Mon to Fri 9-5pm
Pay Rates Day: £13.07 per hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the friendly and supportive Cardiology team at West Herts as an Assistant Cardiac Practitioner.
You will be expected to perform ECGs to SCST standards and have sound basic ECG interpretation skills. Experience running an outpatient clinic is essential. You will be primarily based at Hemel Hempstead Hospital with rotation at the St Albans and Watford sites as service demand dictates.

1. You will help support the delivery of Cardiology services to the Trust, by providing a high standard of clinical and patient care supporting the ambulatory monitoring service within Cardiac Rhythm Management.
2. You may be required to participate in a flexible working hours system.
3. Actively participate in a range of clinical physiology service provision either in performing direct duties or supervised if required.
4. Preparation and hook up of ambulatory monitoring devices including ECG and BP.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Previous NHS experience
* Basic 12-lead ECG interpretation
* Educated to A-level/NVQ level 3
* Experience running clinics independently
