Currently, we have a small but dedicated marketing team:
* One team member with a background in graphic design is eager to learn more about strategic marketing.
* One digital marketing apprentice, currently gaining hands-on experience.
* We need an experienced leader to drive marketing strategy, mentor the team, and scale our marketing efforts to generate real business growth.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote marketing manager role at The Power Within Training. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing marketing campaigns, analyzing market trends, conducting market research, and overseeing digital marketing efforts for the company.
As Marketing Manager, you’ll take ownership of our marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives while driving brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. You’ll oversee campaign execution, manage external agencies, and develop the in-house team to ensure the marketing function delivers measurable results.
This is a strategic and hands-on role—you’ll lead, execute, and optimise marketing activities across digital, social, SEO, paid media, and content marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Business Growth
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth.
2. Create and implement the annual marketing plan, ensuring it aligns with business goals and sales targets.
3. Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, SEO, PPC, and paid advertising.
4. Identify new growth opportunities, including emerging trends, partnerships, and innovative marketing channels.
5. Research products, services, competitors, and market trends to refine marketing strategies.
6. Develop and oversee brand positioning and messaging to ensure consistency across all channels.
Campaign Management & Digital Marketing
1. Lead and optimise multi-channel campaigns across organic platforms.
2. Manage external paid media agencies to ensure commercial targets are met (where required).
3. Create and oversee content strategies based on competition analysis, SEO trends, and audience insights.
4. Drive social media strategy, ensuring consistent engagement, growth, and visibility across platforms.
5. Ensure all content (website, blogs, ads, social media) is aligned with SEO best practices to maximise reach.
6. Oversee video content creation and marketing, working with Adobe Premiere Pro and other editing tools.
7. Research and implement the latest digital marketing tools and best practices to enhance campaign performance.
8. Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, ensuring their skills grow alongside the business.
9. Support and guide team members in SEO, content creation, analytics, and campaign execution.
10. Work closely with leadership, sales, and operations to ensure marketing efforts are fully aligned with business objectives.
11. Foster a collaborative, creative, and results-driven marketing culture.
Data, Insights & Performance Optimisation
1. Analyse marketing data, tracking key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
2. Use Google Analytics, social insights, and paid media data to refine strategy and execution.
3. Provide regular marketing performance reports with actionable recommendations for improvement.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: Minimum 8 years in marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SEO, paid media, digital marketing, and analytics.
Creative Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
Strategic Thinker: Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies that drive business growth.
Strong Leadership: Experience mentoring and leading a team, helping junior members develop and thrive.
Data-Driven Mindset: Confident in analysing metrics, tracking performance, and optimising campaigns based on insights.
Copywriting & Content Skills: Ability to craft compelling, high-impact content across multiple platforms.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple campaigns, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
