Technical Sales Engineer
Reporting Line
The Technical Sales Engineer will report directly to the Technical Sales & Training Manager.
Location
Primarily at Impact Subsea Ltd headquarters, Aberdeen Energy Park. There will be a requirement to visit suppliers, customers, conferences, exhibitions and other work locations.
Role
To apply your technical knowledge along with sales skills to generate and develop new sales leads, and provide technical assistance to customers as required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare proposals & quotations.
2. Provide pre- and post-sale customer support.
3. Organise sales visits to new and existing customers.
4. Assist with the creation of sales literature (website content, social media content etc) when required.
5. Attend trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings within the UK and globally.
6. Assist with the management and growth of the distributor network.
7. Work with the Sales team to ensure targets are met.
8. Comply with management system procedures including health, safety and environmental requirements within the company.
9. Convey a professional image of the company at all times.
10. Carry out other tasks within the competence of the role and jobholder.
Key Outcomes
1. To increase sales in line with the company Sales Plan.
2. To assist with day-to-day management of customers and enquiries.
3. To assist with the growth of the company’s distributor network.
4. To assist with customer technical questions.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
1. Degree qualification in relevant discipline.
2. Experience in the underwater and/or ROV/AUV market.
3. Strong technical skills.
Desirable:
1. Experience in Sales.
2. Experience in a customer facing role.
