We’re looking for a HR Associate/People Administrator to join us in Bradford, this is a fixed term contract until the end of December 2025.
Reporting into the HR Associate Team Leader, you will be joining a vibrant team responsible for delivering high quality and accurate HR and Pay administration services to both our employees and line managers across the end-to-end employee lifecycle, through the application of policies and procedures within agreed performance levels to align with all statutory requirements. What will you be doing?
1. Deliver a quality and consistent professional service to all employees
2. Process end to end employee lifecycle transactional processes such as: new joiners, movers, leavers, pay changes, special leave types, sickness, compensation and benefits.
3. Ensure that all employee data is entered into associated Employee Services systems in a timely, accurate and consistent manner, to agreed standards and targets
4. Action workflow requests in a timely and consistent manner
5. Ensure a high level of confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of work
6. Ensure all corporate policies, standards and agreed People/Employee service processes are understood by employees and people team, rectifying any non-conformances and making approved amendments where necessary
7. Effectively process pay data, documentation and information, instructing payroll accordingly to ensure timely and accurate production of the payrolls.
8. Understand the needs of employees, line managers and people team (internal and external) and continuously seek to improve people services
We tend to look for people with:
Essential
1. Previous administration experience in a HR/Payroll role.
2. An understanding of the HR employee lifecycle.
3. Strong telephone and email communication skills, capable of delivering advice guidance and handling challenging conversations at pace.
4. System savvy; able to fully utilise MS Office products and Excel such as VLOOKUP.
5. Self-motivated and well-organised with the ability to adapt to changing and challenging priorities.
Desirable
1. Working towards CIPD/CPP or payroll related qualification.
2. Ability to work well under pressure.
3. Experience of providing relevant advice on policy and process to Line Managers and employees desirable.
4. Able to fully utilise the application of Oracle Service Cloud, Workday and other HR systems and workflow / case management.
