Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 software, ensuring alignment with project objectives and milestones.
* Analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine resource requirements and develop realistic schedules.
* Track and manage project progress against established schedules, identifying potential delays and proposing solutions.
* Prepare and present comprehensive project schedule reports to management, highlighting key milestones, critical paths, and potential risks.
* Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
* Proactively identify and manage potential schedule risks and issues, recommending mitigation strategies.
Essential Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Senior Planner or in a similar role within the construction industry, with a strong focus on planning complex projects.
* Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 software, with a proven track record of using it to develop and manage project schedules effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and manage potential risks and challenges.
* Experience working within a demanding and safety:critical environment.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience working with leading construction companies in the UK.
* Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards for construction projects.
* Experience with other project management software, such as Microsoft Project.
