Role Responsibilities
Auditing
1. Plan and execute audits for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring adherence to UK auditing standards
2. Conduct risk assessments and evaluate clients’ internal controls
3. Stay current with updates to auditing regulations and best practices
Financial Statements & Reporting
1. Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP
2. Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines for filings
3. Keep up to date with changes in accounting standards
4. Mentor junior team members, offering technical guidance and fostering development
5. Enhance client relationships through proactive communication and support
Systems & Process Improvement
1. Contribute to continuous improvements in internal processes to drive efficiency
2. Identify areas for improvement in client audits to enhance overall service

Candidate Requirements
Education
1. ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience; final-year candidates are welcome
Experience
1. Minimum of 4 years in accountancy practice, with a strong knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
2. Proven track record of conducting audits and preparing financial statements in line with UK GAAP
3. Experience mentoring and supervising junior auditors
