Invoicing Assistant (Transport)

We currently have Operating Centres across Northern Ireland and Ireland, with further plans for expansion. McCulla has over 300 employees working across our Transport, Warehousing, Customs, and Green Bioenergy Operations. There is an ever-growing modern fleet consisting of over 120 vehicles and 200 trailers operating our just-in-time service with environmental sustainability at the forefront of everything we do.
The Person
This role will require a professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. As part of the wider finance team, you will administer the customer invoicing processes, including reconciling invoices, stock invoices, overdue invoices, and other additional ad-hoc tasks that support the team and wider business operations.
About The Role
Duties:
* Process customer invoices, ensuring they are raised accurately and timely.
* Support the setup of customer accounts to ensure invoices are raised correctly.
* Log and resolve queries in a timely manner, keeping customers and internal teams updated.
* Reconcile balances and investigate differences.
* Develop and nurture relationships with external suppliers and customers for efficient issue resolution.
* Work closely with all departments to understand customer expectations and meet these through our supplier base.
* Identify areas for change that will result in smoother and more efficient processes, liaising with relevant areas to implement these changes.
Criteria:
* Previous experience in invoicing and administrative support is required.
* Must be proficient with the MS Office suite.
* Familiar with invoicing software and other financial systems.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proactive and positive approach to work.
* Proven record of meeting deadlines.
* Trustworthy and able to handle sensitive customer and financial data.
Terms:
* Full Time Permanent Role.
* 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
* Salary depending on experience.
* Additional Annual Leave (Service Based).
* Matched employee/employer pension contribution, 5%.
