Sales Team Manager
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Basic salary + Bonus
Location: Birmingham City centre

Our client, a technology provider in the health and social care market, is looking for an experienced hands-on Sales Manager to join their team at their Widnes branch. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team of 3-4 Sales Advisors, drive sales performance, and identify growth opportunities in the region.
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing the sales team, driving business growth, and maintaining excellent customer relationships. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to identify sales opportunities and ensure the team meets sales targets and KPIs. Your leadership will help guide the team in delivering high levels of service and achieving key business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, manage, and develop a team of 3-4 Sales Advisors, ensuring KPIs and sales targets are met.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, identifying growth to identify new sales leads and business opportunities.
3. Coach and mentor the sales team to improve performance and ensure consistent service delivery.
4. Manage and monitor sales pipelines, ensuring accurate reporting and tracking of leads and opportunities.
5. Take ownership of key accounts, maximizing their potential and ensuring client satisfaction.
6. Maintain margin levels and drive profitability, in line with company targets set by senior management.
7. Ensure effective diary management for the team, with accurate and timely reporting of calls, visits, and customer interactions (training provided).
8. Support the branch in day-to-day sales operations, including preparing quotes, handling customer queries, and addressing urgent sales needs.
Requirements/Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in Education, Technology, or health & social care advantageous.
2. Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of driving team performance.
3. Proven experience in Sales Management, Account Management, or Business Development.
4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
5. Ability to identify new business opportunities and drive growth within existing accounts.
6. A proactive approach, with the ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently and effectively.
7. Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions.
