Slatter Electrical Limited is a well-established electrical company based in Twyning, Tewkesbury, GL20 6BY. Working mainly across Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas, we are now looking for a new electrical QS to join our team.
Immediate start (pending a successful interview).
Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience). From £33,000 to £38,000 per year.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (40 hours plus overtime if required).
The role:
As a NICEIC approved electrical contractor, with our current and upcoming projects covering all sectors of electrical installation, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled individual to join the company in an electrical quality supervisor (QS) role.
As an electrical QS, you will support and report to our senior electrical QS, playing a vital role in overseeing the safety, technical standard and quality of the electrical work undertaken by our team of electricians. The role is a mixture of office and site work, with freedom to manage your own diary whilst delivering on your role responsibilities.
Prior experience in a QS role is an advantage but not necessary if you have good knowledge of electrical testing and inspection.
Duties will include:
- Providing technical support to colleagues when required.
- Ensuring knowledge of industry regulations and standards are kept up to date.
- Providing training resources to our electricians, adult trainees and electrical apprentices while keeping professional development records.
- Carrying out inspections of works in progress and post complete works, ensuring compliance and driving quality standards.
- Ensuring testing equipment is maintained with up-to-date service records and accurate logs.
- Reviewing, assessing, and signing off electrical certification in accordance with industry standards.
- Managing and maintaining records of all electrical certification and documentation.
- Undertaking the NICEIC yearly inspection as part of our QS team.

- Good computer literacy with the ability to sign off electrical certification.

The ideal candidate will need to have the below trade required qualifications:
- 18th Edition
- NVQ Level 3
- AM2 Qualification
- 2391 Inspection & Testing
- NICEIC accredited or have been within the last 24 months (desired)
- Full UK Driving License
- DBS Check
