Position Details:
- Location: King's Lynn, Norfolk
- Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant
- Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00
- Salary: £12-£15/Hour inclusive of 12.07% Holiday Pay.
- Contract: Temp to Perm.
Key Responsibilities as a SEN Learning Support Assistant:
- Organise engaging learning resources and activities.
- Adapt lessons to meet students' needs.
- Provide feedback and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with personal care when required.
- Supervise pupils during educational visits and breaks.
- Promote independence, teamwork, and positive behaviour.
- Use ICT tools to enhance learning.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and professionals.
SEN Learning Support Assistant Skills & Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting students with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to working with children.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and promoting the welfare of young people.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
- Must be able to commute to near Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
