Supported Housing Services Manager
Holliday Street, Birmingham
£39,931.88 per annum (working either: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm with occasional Saturdays.)

About the role
We are looking to recruit a Supported Housing Services Manager to lead and manage the Supported Housing service providing a high-quality housing management service. This role will include understanding the role of IHMO staff in regards to Care Support and Supervision and their responsibilities to buildings and service users.
Working with your team to create and maintain tenancies, whilst also maximising income to Trident through efficient and effective management oversight of performance and operational delivery that’s associated with all aspects of tenancies, including well-being checks, management of voids and home moves, anti-social behaviour, safeguarding, impacts of welfare reform and resident engagement.
Maintaining a focus on supported housing management that creates and sustains safe, productive and thriving communities by encouraging residents to take an active interest and role in the places in which they live, working with them and other partners to identify and deliver improvements such as best use of stock reviews and the development of community hubs.
Develop an internal referral route for general needs customers to lead worker support or into supported housing where there are joint agreements that this better meets individual needs and risks.
Deliver high quality efficient community and neighbourhood management services to ensure residents and officers have a pride and commitment to the places in which they live and work. Participating in estate walkabouts, resident meetings and events.
To ensure accurate customer data is recorded via the relevant ICT systems for all customers.
Attending weekly void meetings that ensure collaborative working between internal departments that focus on the effective management of void properties and manage team performance against KPI’s.
To lead the team in meeting rent and service charge collection working in conjunction with the Supported Housing commissioned team and the Income Recovery Team.

About You
Experience of working within the housing sector at a management level.
A working knowledge of legislation and the regulatory requirements relevant to the department.
Experience of managing and leading a dispersed team to achieve consistent high standards of performance.
Experience of building effective relationships with internal and external partners.
5 GCSE’s or equivalent including maths or English.
A professional housing qualification level 5 or above or an agreement to start a housing qualification within 6 months.
Skills & Knowledge
Ability to make operational decisions based on knowledge and evidence.
Understanding of health and safety responsibilities, including lone working.
Demonstrable knowledge of working with Microsoft applications.
High level of numeracy and literacy.
Full clean driving license and access to a vehicle.
