This role will be instrumental in learning and developing the Outsourced Finance Services in accordance with our culture and values, managing a small team you will supporting them to achieve targets ensuring high level of service, ensuring operational objectives are met.
Your responsibilities Here's a bit more on what you can expect to be doing day-to-day: As an Outsourced Finance Manager, you will Manage and develop team members, including conducting performance reviews and the setting of clear objectives, Present accurate and comprehensive management information to the clients providing guidance for effective policy making and financial strategy, Prepare and review budget, analyse deficiencies and report variances, monitor the financial and non-financial performance of the Outsourced Finance Team to ensure metrics are being met Collaborate with the team to establish effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of the client’s ledger whilst encouraging growth What you need: CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified Experience developing relationships with new and existing clients Leadership and people management experience Hands on experience producing management accounts and displaying practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniques Strong business acumen, and experience in identifying opportunities to sell our services, and pitching for new business opportunities Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment The Duncan & Toplis group is one of the UK’s top regional accountancy firms, specialising in accountancy, tax, and business advice, as well as supporting clients with legal services, IT support, and wealth management.
