Mott MacDonald Bentley (MMB) is looking for an aspiring Commissioning Engineer with a good level of experience in fault diagnosis and repair on electrical and mechanical systems.
You'll be working on a large wastewater project in Cambridge, at local site locations within a suitable commuting distance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Attending Factory Acceptance Testing and pre-delivery inspections, assisting the project team with project completions.
2. Working within a team of mechanical, EICA, and process engineers to develop best practices, a strong health and safety environment, and value for money.
3. Involvement in wastewater projects incorporating new builds and refurbishments on apparatus such as inlet works, coarse screens with screen handling units, grit separation and classifiers, fine screens, chemical dosing, dewatering, and secondary treatment plants.
4. Experience in installation and commissioning in utility or commercial building sectors.
5. Working to electrical procedures, including providing Electrical Permits.
6. Planning the commissioning process.
7. Exhibiting good fault-finding skills with a meticulous health and safety approach.
8. Working to safe systems of work, including producing and reviewing third-party Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
