About the Role: Deliver engaging and varied Music lessons across the secondary age range, covering music theory, history, composition, and performance. Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that cater to a range of musical interests and abilities. Assess student progress through practical performances, compositions, written work, and aural tests, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the vibrant extracurricular musical life of the school, including leading or assisting with school ensembles, choirs, and instrumental tuition. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music. A strong knowledge of music theory, history, and performance practices across a range of genres. Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
