We are representing a highly regarded consultancy that is expanding its operations in Manchester and looking for an Associate / Associate Director to lead this growth. The Role
This position offers a unique blend of leadership, technical design, and business development. You'll be instrumental in growing the team, delivering high-quality projects, and establishing the Water discipline in Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the establishment and growth of the Water team in Manchester, supported by experienced teams elsewhere in the UK.
2. Deliver civil engineering design services for water and wastewater projects, covering both infrastructure (e.g., pipelines, drainage systems) and non-infrastructure (e.g., treatment plants).
3. Prepare and oversee fee proposals and ensure successful project delivery within agreed budgets and timelines.
4. Foster and develop client relationships to secure new business opportunities and contribute to regional and companywide targets.
5. Champion best practices in design delivery, utilizing the latest digital tools and techniques.
About You
Key Requirements:
1. A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with substantial design experience in the water and wastewater sector.
2. Chartered Engineer status is essential.
3. Demonstrable experience in delivering projects for water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure assets.
Skills and Competencies:
