Ward Security is looking for an experienced Security Supervisor!
Become a valuable member and a leader of our team based at Sea Containers House, a prominent building located on the south bank of the River Thames, west of Blackfriars Bridge, in London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our security personnel, ensuring the safety and security of employees, visitors, and assets. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
Position: Security Supervisor
Reports To: Security Manager
Pay rate: £16.01 per hour
Shift Pattern: 3 Days 3 Nights 3 Off, 56 hours per week

Must have:
* Valid SIA & CCTV licence
* Proven work experience as a Security Supervisor or DSM - min 1 year
* Robust leadership and supervision skills, adept at inspiring and efficiently managing teams
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
* Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
* Demonstrate reliability, including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability
* Profound problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to analyze intricate security issues and devise effective solutions
* IT literate - Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
Duties:
* Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring efficient task completion
* Report any issues to the duty manager
* Conduct yourself in a professional manner
* Provide regular foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client’s property and assets
* Serve as a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors
* Respond to emergencies
* Deal with conflict in an appropriate manner if required
* Write up incidents to the standard expected by Management
* Carry out ID checks
* Be vigilant to the Health and Safety risks
* Communicate effectively at all levels – verbally, written, phone, and by security radios
* Work effectively as part of a team or on your own initiative
* Maintain a positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges
