Role: Clinical Pharmacist Banding: Band 8a Location: Maidstone Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, 08:30AM - 17:00PM Rate: £40 - £46 per hour About the role: The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Maidstone. This role involves providing clinical pharmacy services to adult and elderly care wards. You will be working on-site, focusing solely on clinical wards with no dispensary cover required. Duties and Responsibilities: You will provide expert clinical pharmacy services to adult and elderly care wards. You will conduct medication reviews and provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care plans. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. You will monitor patient medication regimens and adjust treatments as necessary. You will educate patients and healthcare staff on effective medication management. You will ensure compliance with NHS policies and procedures. You will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ward rounds. You will document clinical interventions and outcomes meticulously. Qualifications and Experience: Essential: Up to date GPhC registration. Relevant Pharmacy qualification. Proven experience in a hospital setting. Desirable: Strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
