We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our Commercial Team. The successful candidate will assist the Commercial Management Team with the administration of the commercial streams (hospitality, retail, booking offices, marketing etc.) of the Company’s business.

This role will be based at Harbour Station Porthmadog; however, the successful candidate may be required to work at other locations across the railways on occasion. Responsibilities will include general administrative tasks and minute taking, working with the Marketing Department on internal communications, managing volunteer records within the department and working in our shops and booking offices as required, providing staff cover. The successful candidate will be experienced in a wide range of administrative tasks and have the ability to manage their time and workload effectively.
Core Skills:
• Experience of working in an administrative capacity
• Experience of working in a customer service role
• IT literate to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent levels of literacy and numeracy
• Good attention to detail
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be adaptable, able to work on own initiative and experienced in time management
• A flair for and interest in creative writing would be an advantage
• The ability to communicate in Welsh is highly desirable
• Knowledge of the Railways and their role in the local area is desirable
• A driving license valid in the UK and / or access to private transport would be an advantage
